Construction is underway on the expansion that is supposed to house the fabled new Poker room. There has been no mention of it in their PR since Nov. I hope it really happens someday. Horizon was sold and is being remodeled and rebranded. I'm told they are moving their Poker room to a new area and it is supposed to be pretty wonderful. From what I hear, a small room, but nicely run and full of loose players. I believe they are still on track for this summer.

Last time, I checked, Horizon didn't have a Poker rate for hotel rooms- any changes, present or future? What change was made to the Horizons, RR? Is the new room getting autoshufflers. Maybe i wont have to drive to Bossier so often now. Not RR, but Due to the pending sale of Horizon to Nevada Gold, they brought in some new talent to bridge the transition. The Poker room has definitely seen some improvement, but we'll likely see something much more dramatic when the new one makes its debut in a few months.
